| Description |
English: An extremely rare sight.... This was the view along St. Augustine's Gate in Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire, England early (~9a.m.) on Christmas morning 2007. For just a few seconds, the road is totally devoid of traffic and parked cars! This contrasts very starkly with exactly the same time just the day before on Christmas Eve! Apart from the modern day signs, aerials and tarmac, this view would look similar to this scene 100 years ago. |
