Description
English: The USNS Daniel I. Sultan, and an escorting [Baby] carrier reach Vung Tau Harbor, Republic of Vietnam, with troops of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, personnel disembark and head for shore in LCUs where military and civilian dignitaries wait to greet them after a 20 day sea voyage from the United States. A GM 2-1/2 ton truck backs into the loading platform of an LCU as more men and equipment arrive to move out to the airbase for the flight to Bien Hoa Airbase. NARA 111-CCV-592-CC36252
