OKINAWA, Japan (July 6, 2016) A landing craft air cushion vehicle assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7 and the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) depart White Beach Naval Facility in Okinawa, Japan July 6, 2016 after offloading Marines from Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, . Naval Beach Unit 7 and Ashland, part of Amphibious Force 7th Fleet, participated in several bilateral engagements during the 2016 Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training series.
