Description

ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 22, 2013) An E-2C Hawkeye assigned to the Bluetails of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 121 prepares for take off aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Dwight D. Eisenhower departed Naval Station Norfolk on a scheduled deployment in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
