Description Amtrak engine #406 is part of the Amtrak 40th anniversary Exhibit Train and sports the Phase III paint scheme. The picture was shot at Washington Union Station on National Train Day, May 7th. The engine was built as a F40PH and is now a NPCU - non powered control unit. In addition, the Exhibit Train will utilize Amtrak 822, a P40 locomotive.
