Deutsch: Wappen des Amtes Bremen. "Im oberen silbernen Felde des geteilten und unten gespaltenen Schildes ein rotgewandeter wachsender Bischof mit goldener Mitra, goldenem, nach links geöffnetem Stabe in der Rechten und aufgeblättertem goldenen Buche in der Linken. Unten (heraldisch) rechts in Blau ein von Rot und Silber (Weiß) zweireihig geschachter Linksschrägbalken (heraldisch), links in Gold (Gelb) zwei rote Balken". Genehmigt am 28.02.1959 durch den Innenminister Nordrhein-Westfalens. Der Bischof stellt den Kirchenpatron St. Lambertus von Bremen dar, zu dessen Parochie einst das ganze Amt gehörte. Der Schachbalken ist das Wappen des Cistercienserordens in seinen zuständigen Farben, dem das im Amt gelegene, 1943 zerstörte Kloster Himmelpforten angehörte. Die roten Balken in goldenem Felde sind das Wappen der Familie von Fürstenberg, deren namensgebender Stammsitz im Amte liegt und die auch sonst (Waterlappe) dort vielfach begütert ist und war.
