Buiksloterham - Dukdalf Turner Prize artwork by Nathan Coley, 2007. The work is a dialogue with the particular location of the former NDSM Werf and is on display for two years. The artwork is also a translation of an important theme in his work: the relationship between public space and the feeling of belonging. "A place beyond belief" was the phrase that a resident of New York used during a radio interview in which, ten years after the attack of 9/11, as a strong memory. Hope for the future. |
