Description
English: Amos Starr Cooke (1810–1871) was an educator and businessman in the Kingdom of Hawaii. he and his wife founded the Royal School, whose students included the last five monarchs of Hawaii. He then co-founded the firm Castle & Cooke which became a dominating agricultural conglomerate through the 20th century.
