k,iS the Dragon-sleigh of the very handsomest man in the world, honoredby the company of Lady Blessington, who, if not the handsomestwoman, is certainly the most entrainante and delightful. The horsein his day, too, was the finest known horse, and the dog, the noblestknown dog in the universe—of Paris. Four better portraits, forthe size and distance, were never drawn. The Count and LadyBlessington look like those celebrities seen through a reversed opera-glass. It is a characteristic instance of the superb extravagance ofthe cupidon dechaine that the whole turn-out, including the snow-shedders upon his legs, was got up upon the mere chance of a quin-tennial or septennial *snow.
