PLATE VII. Figure 19 Figure 20 Figure 21 Figure 22 110 American Quarterly of Roentgenology. EDITORIAL Following the suggestion of the retiring secretary, Dr. Pan-coast, a motion was introduced by the executive committee call-ing for the appointment of a committee on nomenclature. Afterthe resolution was carried the president appointed the followingcommittee: Dr. ZapfTe, Dr. David R. Bowen and Dr. PercyBrown. This committee certainly has an important task toperform and its deliberations will be looked forward to withinterest. The report of the committee will probably appear insome future number of the Quarterly. At present a confusionexists among writers on Roentgenologic subjects in their choiceof terms for the products of their work and the means withwhich they work. As was pointed out by Dr. Zapf¥e this leadsto great confusion. The compilers of the various indices ofmedical literature have great difficulty in classifying the subjectsinasmuch as so much confusion exists in the title
