The decla-rations and decisions are preserved in the office of Ihe justice,who delivers a copy to each of the parties, and addresses another,through the prefect of the department, to the Minister of Com-merce and Industry. In case of a strike, if the initiative has not been taken byany of the parties interested, the justice of the peace, by virtueof his office, calls upon the employers and workmen, or theirrepresentatives, to make known to him, within three days,the subject-matter of the controversy, with a detailed state-ment of the motives or reasons alleged, their acceptance orrefusal of conciliation or arbitration, and the names, profes-sions, and domicile of the delegates chosen, if any. If theinvitation of the justice is accepted, the proceedings willfollow the course heretofore indicated.
