Description |
The "American Moth" airplane was designed by the Vulcan Aircraft Company of Portsmouth, Ohio. The company operated from the fall of 1927 to November of 1928. This monoplane "marks a distinct advance in small ship design, both from the standpoint of performance and appearance. This is an all-Ohio product, the plane being built at Portsmouth, the motor at Cincinnati, and the propeller at Piqua, Ohio." The plane was one of the features of the Ohio State Fair Aircraft Show, held August 27 through September 3, 1928. |
