Description
English: American troops stalk the enemy in New Guinea.
US infantrymen wade a stream in their search for Jap snipers hidden in the dense undergrowth. This action took place during Allied mopping-up operations near the Buna sector in New Guinea after the main Jap forces had been wiped out.
