Description

Amboise (Indre-et-Loire)

Collégiale Saint-Denis.

Le portail roman sur le bas-côté nord. Il comporte quatre voussures sur colonnettes à chapiteaux, dont trois sont ornées de feuillages.

Au-dessus on aperçoit une tête d'ange et une niche avec la statue de saint Denis.
La collégiale Saint-Denis d'Amboise est un édifice de style roman construit à partir de 1107 par Hugues Ier, seigneur d'Amboise. L'édifice a été agrandi au XVIe siècle.
