Description
English: Amber bead; Small, circular, 'doughnut-shaped' bead of bright orange amber. Surface mostly pitted and matt. Chipped in one area, showing the bright, glassy texture of the amber. Weight 0.91g, Diameter 13.11mm, Thickness 9.36mm (6.88mm min) Unknown date - amber beads are very difficult to date. They are reasonably commonly known from Bronze Age, Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Medieval contexts.
