Ambassador Jack Lew visited the Jerusalem Civilian Command Center to meet with volunteers and assemble packages. He also visited with evacuated families from Sderot at the Ramada Hotel, currently functioning as a shelter. He ended his day at the "Lights of Hope" vigil in the Jerusalem Municipality, a display set up to bring awareness to the hostages being held in Gaza.
