Description Bimarhane Medresesi, a former hospital and lunatic asylum built in 1308. It's most famous resident doctor was <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%c5%9eerafeddin_Sabuncuo%c4%9flu" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Sabuncuoğlu Şerafeddin</a>, who was known, amongst other things, for his musical therapy.
