English: Amélie Diéterle by photographer Léopold-Émile Reutlinger in 1903. Amélie Diéterle is a French comedian and an Art collector, born in Strasbourg on 20 February 1871 and died in Cannes on 20 January 1941. She was legitimated in Paris in 1892 by Captain Louis Laurent, Knight of the Legion of Honor. Amélie Diéterle married in Vallauris on 16 June 1930 with André Simon (1877-1965). Amélie Diéterle plays mainly at the Théâtre des Variétés in Paris during the Belle Époque. Amelie Diéterle was one of Renoir's favourite models.
