Description
Deutsch: Mutmaßliche Überreste eines Brunnenhauses am Theodor-Heuss-Ring, Ecke Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße, in Alzey, Landkreis Alzey-Worms, Rheinland-Pfalz, Deutschland. Das Brunnenhaus (Bruchstein, um 1800) ist auf der Denkmalliste des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz (Stand: 31. Juli 2018) eingetragen. Am Fundort wurde Folgendes beobachtet: Die Einmündung der Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße in den Theodor-Heuss-Ring hat zwei Ecken: Eine mit einer gut überblickbaren Wiese, auf der sich offenbar kein Brunnenhaus befindet, und eine mit Gebüsch bewachsene Ecke. In das Gebüsch führt ein Trampelpfad (im Bild oben rechts). Nach ein paar Schritten stößt man links des Weges auf einen Haufen Bruchsteine und einen Haufen Äste. Es wird vermutet, dass die Bruchsteine die Überreste des zerstörten Brunnenhauses sind (unter den Bruchsteinen fand sich ein ca. 20 cm großes Bruchstück einer bemalten Gipsfigur, im Bild leicht links der Mitte) und dass die Äste nachträglich neben den Steinen platziert wurden, um den ehemaligen Brunnenschacht notdürftig abzudecken (im Bild an der dunklen Färbung unter den Ästen zu erahnen).
