Description
English: Portrait of an African man, by Albrecht Dürer, 1508. Originally from Graphische Sammlung Albertina, Vienna. It is not a picture of Cadamosto, but rather a picture used to illustrate the cover of a 2003 French edition of Cadamosto's Voyages en Afrique Noire (Frédérique Verrier, editor), Paris: Chandeigne, and is sometimes mistakenly assumed to be a depiction of Cadamosto.
