English: Alvah Parish Kirk The kirk stands part way up the hillside, commanding a fine view over the parish. It must have been an awkward place to attend services in severe winter weather. The blue plaque on the wall relates that the kirk has not been in use since 1973. It is beginning to show evidence of neglect. |
