Description
Deutsch: Lauchert-Durchbruch am Ausgang von Veringenstadt, Schwäbische Alb.
Der enge s-förmige Flussdurchbruch liegt in der tektonischen Vergitterungszone von herzynisch streichendem Hohenzollerngraben und rheinisch streichendem Lauchertgraben.
Durch tektonischen Stress haben sich Klüfte gebildet, die sich zu zahlreichen Höhlen geweitet haben. E sind 34 Höhlen bekannt. Im Bild: Göpfelsteinhöhle.

English: In a double bend river Lauchert eroded a water gap across massive limestone rock, Veringenstadt, Swabian Alb.
Here in Veringenstadt tensional forces of NW-SE "Hohenzollerngraben" and S-N "Lauchertgraben" intersected, increasing the number of fractures and joints drastically - no less than 34 caves were discovered.
