| Description | Der alte Friedhof an St. Martin vor seiner Umgestaltung. Im heutigen Tilmann Joel-Park sind noch eine große Zahl beeindruckender und (kunst-)historisch bedeutender Grabkreuze, -platten und –denkmäler in den unterschiedlichsten Stilrichtungen und von teils illustren Linzer Familien der letzten fünf Jahrhunderte zu sehen. Gräberfelder sind unterhalb des Kaiserbergs schon in fränkischer Zeit nachweisbar, der später hier um die 1214 geweihte Martinskirche entstandene Kirchhof wurde mehrfach erweitert und bis Mitte der 1930er, zum Teil sogar bis in die 1970er Jahre hinein genutzt. |
