Description
English: Altar retable of chapel "Jan van Arkel", Utrecht Cathedral (Domkerk). Found behind false plaster wall during restauration activities in 1919. Dated 15th century, defaced in 1572 during Protestant Reformation iconoclastic riots.
Nederlands: Een altaarretabel in de "Jan van Arkel"-kapel in de Utrechtse Domkerk. Het werd gevonden achter muur tijdens een restauratie in 1919. De hoofden zijn verwijderd in 1572 tijdens de Beeldenstorm.
