I took this picture June 2006. It hangs in the interior of the ayuntamiento of San Cristobal de La Laguna, Tenerife, to which I was allowed access.

En el año 1497 llevó el Adelantado a los nueve Menceyes a la preferencia de los Católicos Reyes que le holgaron verlos y fueron bien recibidos y sus Magestades [Majestades] les hicieron muchas mercedes con las que volvieron a Tenerife.
