Zamordowany przez członków niemieckiego Selbstschutzu w październiku 1939 w lesie pomiędzy Podwieskiem a Wielkimi Łunawami. English: Alojzy Karwasz – chief of the village volunteer fire department in Nowa Wieś Chełmińska, member of the “Polish Western Union” (pl: Polski Związek Zachodni, PZZ). Executed by Nazi-German occupants in October 1939 in the forest located between Podwiesk and Wielkie Łunawy.
