Description
Polski: Alojzy Horak – polski współorganizator skautingu we Lwowie, pułkownik dyplomowany WP, pierwszy komendant Okręgu Warszawa-województwo ZWZ/AK, szef oddziału III w Komendzie Głównej Batalionów Chłopskich. Aresztowany przez Niemców, zamordowany 12 lutego 1943 w masowej egzekucji w Lasach Chojnowskich.
English: Alojzy Horak – scout, activist, colonel of the prewar Polish Army. During the German occupation of Poland he served as the first commander of the Home Army’s district “Warsaw-Voivodeship”. He also occupied the post of the chief of Section III in the Bataliony Chłopskie Headquarters. Arrested by Nazi-German occupants and executed in the Chojnów forests (Lasy Chojnowskie) south of Warsaw on February 12, 1943.
