Čeština: Alois Šeda (* 15. ledna 1908 Kobylnice u Brna – 5. července 1999 Kalifornie, USA) byl prvorepublikový československý důstojník, za druhé světové války příslušník československé armády v zahraničí a protikomunistický odbojář. Po skončení druhé světové války se vrátil do Československa, krátce působil v armádě, ale po uchopení moci komunisty v únoru 1948 byl již v dubnu 1948 odeslán na zvláštní dovolenou a nedlouho poté (v dubnu 1948) emigroval do zahraničí. Spolu se svým bratrem Ferdinandem Šedou (1899–1983) vedl americkou zpravodajskou skupinu až do roku 1951. V USA Alois Šeda vyučoval na jazykové škole ministerstva obrany (Defense Language Institute) v Monterey. V devadesátých letech byl povýšen do hodnosti generála.
English: Alois Šeda (* January 15, 1908 Kobylnice u Brna - July 5, 1999 California, USA) was a Czechoslovak officer during World War II, a member of the Czechoslovak army abroad and an anti-communist resistance fighter. After the end of World War II, he returned to Czechoslovakia, served briefly in the army, but after the Communist seizure of power in February 1948, he was sent on special leave and emigrated abroad shortly thereafter (in April 1948). Together with his brother Ferdinand Šeda (1899-1983), he led the American intelligence group until 1951. In the USA, Alois Šeda taught at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey. In the 1990s he was promoted to the rank of general.
