Mandó la flota que transportó el ejército de Pedro de Cevallos, Virrey de la Plata, que conquistó para la Corona Española la Colonia del Sacramento en 1776. English: Francisco Javier Everardo-Tilly, Spanish Admiral (1712-1795). Commanded the large Spanish fleet of 9000 soldiers, sent by King Carlos III of Spain to conquer from Portugal (1776) Colonia del Sacramento, now in Uruguay. |
