Description

Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation.

The construction of the church began in the twelfth century and ended in the sixteenth century. Romanesque and Gothic styles co-exist.

The old gate now blocked, describing a semicircular archway, decorated with tori and whose tympanum is occupied by a crosslinked structure enriched with small circles and diagonal cuts, ornaments so rare in this country, and elegant effect. The chapiters of the tubes which fell from the arcade still appear in the wall. We see above that order two small simple semicircular windows, and height transoms a kind of cornice flat heads and indentations, which rises above each bay and continues throughout the breadth of the facade.

The current portal is a large flowered arch in the style of the sixteenth century and prismatic hollow moldings alternately decorated with vines, embracing two square doors and a large flamboyant eardrum. There are three square canopy niches, pilasters and panels.
