[edit]DescriptionAllesley Village Jubilee Nature Reserve - geograph.org.uk - 761967.jpg |
English: Allesley Village Jubilee Nature Reserve This is a triangle of land between Pickford Way (in the foreground) and Birmingham Road. It is about 2 acres in area and was made a nature reserve in 2002.
All planting is of native species, consistent with Ancient Arden, an area unchanged since the Middle Ages. The total first planting between September 2002 and March 2003 was 2500 trees and shrubs. The grassed area is a wildflower meadow. |
