Description
Nederlands: Allegorische voorstelling op het verdrag van Altona uit 1689. Onder portretbustes van Christiaan Albrecht, hertog van Holstein-Gottorp en zijn vrouw Friederike Amalie van Denemarken. In de hemel op een wolk hun wapen. In het midden Mercurius die de bootschap van de vrede brengt. Rechts achter Mars met vakkel en zwaard, achter hem allerlei wapentuig. Op zee is Neptunus met zijn wagen met zeepaarden te zien. Aan weerszijden van de portretten een vers op het verdrag van Altona in het Duits.
