Centraal een altaar 'Uit liefde voor het vaderland' waarop de Nederlandse Leeuw en de Liefde. Links de Belgische partij voorgesteld met de oorlogsgod, de Nijd, een wolf, de hellehond Cerebrus en het geketende Belgische volk. Rechts de Nederlandse partij met de Nederlandse maagd, Eendracht, Mercurius en een treurende Neptunus. Onderaan beschrijvingen van de voorstelling in het Frans en Nederlands.
