Description
Nederlands: Allegorie op de wetenschappen. Een groep van vrouwelijke personificaties. In het midden een staande vrouw met een helm, rechts een zittende vrouw. Linksonder kronkelt een slang om een schild. Uit een reeks van vijf allegoriën (SK-A-4174/4178), geschilderd in grisaille tussen 1675 en 1683 voor het huis 'Messina' van Philips de Flines aan de Herengracht.
