Description

Postcard photo of the graveyard of All Saints parish church, Ecclesall, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. The church was built in the 1780s, improved in 1843 and enlarged in 1864. A transept was added in 1907. The interior was reordered in 1964 and 1997. As of 2019 many of the 18th and 19th century gravestones remained, and the graveyard was still open for burials.

This photo was taken in 1904 before the transept was added.

Note: The first upload is an unedited scan of the now-faded postcard. The second upload is the same scan with improved contrast, and therefore may contain loss of original detail.
