Description 15th century font. Around the octagonal base is an incription: Orate pro anima d(omi)ni Galfr(ed)i Symond rectoris de Bradwell qui istum fontem fiere fecit in honore Dei. Translated: "Pray for the soul of Sir Geoffrey Symond, rector of Bradwell, who caused this font to be made in honour of God". ("Sir" was the usual title of a mediaeval priest, unconnected with knighthood).
