English: The 82nd Airborne Division’s All-American Chorus puts on a show for Poplar Heights Care and Rehabilitation Center patients, residents and staff in Elizabethtown, N.C., May 15. The Paratroopers came to help show the support of the 82nd Airborne Division Community as the center celebrates National Nursing Home Week with such tunes as “Oh Danny Boy,” Lee Greenwood’s “God bless the USA,” and many others. Established in 1967 by the American Health Care Association, National Nursing Home Week begins on Mother’s Day and promotes the care for residents and patients. This year’s theme is the team care between staff, family and patients. (U.S. Army Photo by Staff Sgt. April Campbell, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade Public Affairs) |
