CHOCOLATE, passionfruit, lemongrass, soy

I was the only person in our group who even remotely liked this dessert, which consisted of a somewhat... poop-like tube of chocolate ganache, garnished with passionfruit, lemongrass, and candied orange on one side, with 3 small soy sauce marshmallows, one of which was topped by a chunk of lemongrass ice. In another corner of the dish was a small blob of sweet, creamy rice pudding.

Sue Wen: The marshmallows were very salty (even for someone whose friends describe her salt-application technique as "snow"), but the chocolate cut the saltiness nicely, in my opinion anyway. The ice and rice pudding were a nice contrast to the other intense flavors.

Matt: As interesting as this sounded and as much as I dig a little saltiness in a dessert, I found this to be pretty awful. There was just no relief from the dense, potent salty flavors. Maybe the wine pairing would have made it wonderful?
