Summary

Description	During transport over the abutment at the southeastern corner the incline of the superstructure on the SPMT (i.e., its cross-slope) did not match the incline of the abutments. To avoid contact the contractor had to jacked up as high as possible the 16 SPMT hydraulic jacks and build a temporary ramp to finish the move for the FHWA, Highways for LIFE supported Utah DOT demonstration project to replace the bridge over the interstate during a weekend closure. This was successful.
