Description
Русский: Эта коронованная особа – одноклеточная водоросль Hymenomonas roseola F. Stein, единственный пресноводный представитель рода Hymenomonas (Haptophyta). На одной из стадий жизненного цикла поверхность клетки этой водоросли покрыта многочисленными кокколитами – известковыми структурами, по форме напоминающими корону, высота кокколитов варьирует в пределах 0.5–1.12 мкм. Вид обнаружен в ноябре 2022 г. в планктоне Ушкотинского водохранилища (Оренбургская область, Россия).
