Description
Deutsch: Bildseite der Ansichtskarte von Alfred Grohs aus der Zeit des Ersten Weltkrieges, hier mit dem Titel Lille nach dem Bombardement"...
Français : "Lille après les bombardements". L'immeuble au coin arrondi au deuxième plan est occupé par le "Café Jean" ; à la vue de l'exemplaire de ce cliché que possède la Bibliothèque Municipale de Lille, il est possible d'en lire le nom → http://archives.lille.fr/ark:/74900/a011372404723Yy983O/369ee4bd74 L'arrondi de la brasserie Jean à l'angle des rues Faidherbe et de Paris (Mauroy) avait une amplitude différente qu'actuellement. On découvre par ailleurs, que l'opéra possédait une marquise sur sa façade latérale (rue Léon Trulin). En regardant la photo on peut voir en bas de la marquise et dans le lointain les marches d'escaliers menant à l'entrée de côté de l'opéra.
