Summary
[edit]DescriptionAlexander Luczy 1997.jpg |
English: Slovak climber Alexander Luczy. He lived with his family in Poprad. His father Gustav Alexander Luczy was a grocer. After emigrating, he settled in Switzerland, where he worked as a civil engineer mainly on the construction of highways, tunnels, bridges, but also industrial structures and traffic regulation. He worked in Zurich, Basel, Neuchâteli and Biel / Bienne. He married Swiss Switzerland, with whom he has two children.
He was not an extreme climber. His downhill skiing on the Tatra peaks, the ski pass through the High Tatras from Zelený ples to Popradské pleso in 1967 were well known and appreciated. He completed more than 400 challenging ascents to the Tatra peaks. In his climbing diary there are about 1400 alpine ascents and more than 600 of them on skis.
Slovenčina: Slovenský horolezec Alexander Luczy. Žil so svojou rodinou v Poprade. Pôsobil Zürichu, Baseli, Neuchâteli a Biel/Bienne.
