Description
English: Picart was commissioned with several coach designs following the Congress of Utrecht (1712-1713) which settled the War of the Spanish Succession, leading to the crowning of Philip, Duke of Anjou - Louis XIV of France's grandson - as Philip V of Spain. Picart created this album of seven coach designs, published in Amsterdam, for the Duke of Osuna, ambassador to the new King of Spain.
