Deutsch: nach links gewandtes Brustbildnis von Dürers Vater, Albrecht Dürer d.Ä., vor grünem Hintergrund, mit braunem Mantel, schwarzer Mütze und einem Rosenkranz in den Händen; auf der Rückseite Allianzwappen von Albrecht Dürer d.Ä. und seiner Ehefrau Barbara Holger, zwischen dem Wappen und der Jahrzahl 1490 ist schwach die mit den Inventaren der Sammlung des Willibald Imhoff 1573, 1580 und 1588 übereinstimmende Zahl „19“ zu erkennen.

zwischen 1588 und 1628 vom Mutterbildnis (Ausst.Kat. Frühe Dürer 2012, Kat. 7) getrennt
1588 Kaiser Rudolf II. zum Kauf angeboten und vermutlich von diesem erworben
Filippo Baldinucci sieht das Porträt 1675 in den Räumlichkeiten des verstorbenen Kardinals Leopoldo de’ Medici; anschließend in der Villa di Poggio Imperiale in Florenz nachweisbar
seit 1773 in der Galleria degli Uffizi.
