Description

The bronze figure of a beautiful, richly dressed young man sitting on a stone bench has a victorious, radiant expression on his face. It is the angel who, according to the Gospel, announced the good news of Easter to the women at the empty tomb of Christ. His place opposite the mortuary with the large concrete cross is a reminder and comfort for the faithful: For Jesus is not here. He is risen! as the angel proclaimed according to the Gospel and what is recorded in the bronze medallion on the left side.
