Description Etruscan alabaster ash urn with Cacu, Caile and Avle Vipinas (Museo Archeologico, Siena)
The seer Cacu in the center holds his lyre and makes a gesture of explanation with his right hand. He is under attack by twin bearded soldiers, the Vipinas brothers, with drawn swords. His assistant Artile, sitting at his feet, clutches a scroll and laments. Nude and dressed warriors and a horse participate.
