English: Tech. Sgt. Stacey Soley, 2nd Aeromedical Evacuation technician, deployed from Pope Air Force Base, N.C., and assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, ensures patients are secured and attends to their medical needs before take off for their new destination. The 40th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron and the 379th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, both out of Al Udied Air Base, Qatar, work together as a cohesive team to travel around the area of responsibility and pick up injured personnel and transport them to their next destination. The medical team on board works to ensure the care and safety of their injured until they are delivered into the care of medical professionals at the receiving base while the flight crew works to ensure the safety of all on board until they arrive at their final destination. |
