English: Airie Hill from Loch Skerrow Station The bleak granite Airie Hill (291m) seen from Loch Skerrow Station on the former Portpatrick and Wigtownshire Joint Railway. The remains of the partly demolished up platform of the station are in the foreground. Loch Skerrow Station was without road access and was one of the most isolated stations in Scotland, closing to passengers on the 14th June 1965. |
