"Marathon" - the plane of initial training, was created in MAI in 1992 under the leadership of the general designer Letitsky.
Possesses a number of indisputable advantages for educational process. Such as: simplicity of piloting, the fine review from a cabin, the chassis scheme with a nasal rack, an arrangement of the instructor and the cadet according to the scheme "side by side" that allows to carry out educational process more effectively. Nevertheless the plane possesses, as well as any other car, the features in piloting that does training on it not by cloudless driving, and serious development of receptions of control of airplane which will allow already to the pilot further more thoughtfully to approach to transition from one type of the plane on another.
