Description

25 pdr Field Gun Vickers Armstrong Canada (1943). Jacob Groenewoud Plantsoen Arnhem (verzetsheld).

The last 25-pdr Field Gun to be used in action was manned by two SAS troopers in the Omani port of Mirbat on 19 July 1972. The gun was used to support the SAS and members of the Omani Armed Forces who fought a running battle with Communist insurgents.

Getrokken achterlader 25 ponder. Bouwjaar 1943. 5 schoten per minuut. Max. bereik 12km.

3 ¼ inch kaliber.
